Terms of Sale

Account Number

An account will be established for you with your first order. Please give us your account number everytime you place an order.

Pricing

As we are both the manufacturer and distributor of our product we can maintain competitive pricing while always maintaining the highest quality product. We aim to honour all our catalogue prices, however, currency fluctuations and increased production costs may result in a price change without notice. Typographical errors are exempted. All prices are in Canadian Dollars. Applicable federal and/or provincial taxes will be charged.

Payment Terms

An invoice will be sent with your order. We accept payment by cheque, Visa, or MasterCard. A 1.5% monthly charge (18% annually) will be added to overdue balances.

Delivery

Orders will be shipped within 1 business day of order being placed. Our shipments are fully insured. Shipments are usually made by Purolator and delivery time will vary due to proximity to your shipping location.

Shipping Charges

There will be no shipping charges within Canada on orders over $250.00. Shipping charges outside of Canada will vary dependent on shipping location.

Claims

We strive to ensure that all orders are shipped accurately and securely to prevent damage to the product, however if your shipment is damaged or if your order is missing an item, please notify us within two business days.

Returns Policy

If you need to return an item please call your sales representative or our customer service for assistance. Product return can be made within 30 days of purchase, in the original, unmarked, unopened, sealed package with a copy of the original invoice, for a full credit or refund. Returned items not meeting this criteria will be assessed on an item by item basis. Shipping charges may apply.

For your protection, items such as hand-pieces that have been personalized, custom ordered, opened or used cannot be returned for credit or exchange. We recommend that before you open a product package that you make sure that it contains the item that you ordered.

Warranty

Fortec strives to produce the highest quality product, however if a product fails as a result of poor workmanship or a defect in materials, at Fortec’s discretion, the item will be replaced at no cost to you. If while in use, you find that an item is defective, please contact your sales representative immediately and they will walk you through the process. Please note that product that has been misused, modified, or tempered with in any way or is beyond the instruments expected life, and any special order merchandise is exempt.
